how to measure your ring size

Ideally, fingers should be sized properly by a professional jeweller using a ring sizer.  If this is not possible then the following may be used to estimate your size.

::: Decide which hand and finger the ring is for :::

::: Check if you already have a ring that fits the relevant hand and finger, note : a wider ring feels snugger on the finger and it is advisable to order a whole size larger than your normal ring size) . From here you can lay a ruler on a flat surface and place the ring over to measure the internal diameter in millimeters. :::

::: if you do not have a suitable ring you can measure it with a piece of string

Wrap the string or around the base of the appropriate finger. Use a pen to mark the point on the string where it overlaps, forming a complete circle. make sure you can slip it on and off with ease. With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string to the pen mark. this will give you the circumference of the ring, to get the diameter divide this number by 3.14:::

****For the most accurate reading, measure the finger at the end of the day when the finger is the warmest and therefore the largest****
